As a long time chef and farmer in the region, Janet Jeffs has a network of amazing producers that she uses to source the freshest of ingredients.  At her venue, The Conservatory at the National Arboretum Janet is highlighting truffles throughout the season. “What we have in the Canberra Region is truly unique, where else in the world can you source an ingredient like truffles so close to a city? Janet explains. Where else indeed? Janet’s venue is highlighting truffles throughout the season and will have a special breakfast dish and celebration lunch available everyday during July.

What could be better than watching the sun rise through the fog on our city and enjoying a breakfast of Greendale Farm scrambled eggs topped with shavings of French Black truffle
. Or perhaps salute to Canberra, with the celebration lunch, Truffle-buttered spatchcock with heirloom carrots & celeriac puree 
or
 Steamed truffled Murray Cod fillet with Allsun Farm parsnip puree.
